Well... Before I continue on my point of view, I have to first state that I wasn't present at the lecture that Mr Dio to do with the Morality thingy and so any ideas that I will state might be repetitive as such. I apologise if this is so. But then again, without having had any discussion to do with the subject matter, I suppose I might also provide a fresh opinion on the matter.

Firstly, some definitional stuffs..
Erotica: Pornography of good taste? Or maybe something more like... Pornography with emotions? Go figure...
Pornography: Blatant nudity with the intention to get men to ejaculate. =P Correct me if I'm wrong.

Personally, I would think that both Erotica and Pornography have a very hazy line drawn in between them. In a sense that the same picture can be put off as being both under the category of Erotica and Pornography.

I'd agree with Kelly about the INTENTIONS of the pictures, whether it is placed in a museum for aesthetics appreciation (yeah right) or a poster in PLAYBOY (that sounds more like it =P) Because of intentions, a picture can instantly be classified under either of the categories. It NEED NOT EVEN BE TWO DIFFERENT PICTURES to show the difference between the pictures and their respective category.

A picture of a naked female doing something obscene like... (censored: I shan't describe) can immediately evoked thoughts and emotions in a person. The thing is, with people being more and more liberal in their opinions nowadays, we are beginning to see more nude and explicit paintings and pictures in museums (like the art museum we went to for enrichment week). And by the idea of progression, the next thing we know, PLAYBOY magazines may start to find their way into our very own museums and start being described as art.

It's quite absurb and extreme, but hey, it's possible. Looking at how deragatory our society is becoming day by day... ...

And when that day comes, what would you say? Would Pornography be Erotica and vice versa?

Well.. That's my two cents worth of thoughts. Come to think of it... I might just be blabbering crap, considering that I didn't attend the lecture... ... hahaha...
